The Main Indexes of Service Outsourcing of the First Three Quarters in Jiangsu Achieve Fast Increase

In the first three quarters, the amount of service outsourcing contracts achieved by Jiangsu province has been 34.07 billion USD, up by 24.1% year-on-year, and 0.1 % lower than that of the first half of this year. Among these, the amount of offshore contracts has been 18.76 billion USD, up by 19.8% year-on-year, and 3.9 % higher than that of the first half of the year. In the first three quarters, the implementation amount of service outsourcing achieved by the province has been 28.6 billion USD, up by 23.9% year-on-year, and 2.2 % higher than that of the first half of the year. Among these, the offshore implementation amount has been 15.88 billion USD, up by 20.7% year-on-year, and 5 % higher than that of the first half of the year.

The middle and high-end businesses such as business process outsourcing and knowledge process outsourcing get rapid growth, and the growth rate is obviously higher than that of the first half of the year. In the first three quarters, the implementation amount of information technology outsourcing achieved by the province has been 28.6 billion USD, up by 23.9%, and 7.3 % higher than that of the first half of the year; the implementation amount of business process outsourcing has been 2.93 billion USD, up by 46.2%, and 7.9 % higher than that of the first half of the year; the amount of knowledge process outsourcing has been 9.27 billion USD, up by 34.6%, and 7.1 % higher than that of the first half of the year.

From the perspective of destination countries and regions which have been undertaken service outsourcing, the implementation amount of business from domestic is 12.72 billion USD, accounting for 44.5%, up by 28.3% year-on-year. The business from America is in the second place, the implementation amount is 3.37 billion USD, accounting for 11.8%, up by 35.6%. The implementation amounts of business from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan are in the third, fourth and fifth places, accounting for 7.4%, 5.8% and 5.4% respectively, up by 40.1%, 41.3% and 17.2% respectively.
