Accenture (NYSE: ACN) is launching a set of intelligent delivery tools for Salesforce that help accelerate time to value for clients. The industrialized tools are designed to drive improved standardization and reuse – codifying a decade of Accenture experience with Salesforce around the world – and packaging high-quality, analytics-powered assets for rapid deployment.

To further extend its market-leading salesforce.com position[I], Accenture also announced it has increased its global Salesforce-skilled workforce—growing the total number of skilled and certified consultants to more than 3,600. These announcements were made today at Salesforce1 World Tour London.

“As the pace of business change accelerates, clients need ways to speed the deployment of high quality business solutions on the Salesforce1 Platform,” said Saideep Raj, global managing director, software as a service at Accenture. “As the leading global provider of Salesforce implementation services, our increase in Salesforce-skilled consultants demonstrates our continued commitment to bring value-led, cloud-based mobile solutions to our clients. Our delivery tools set the bar for maturity and innovation, and help our clients deliver more quickly, with predictable business outcomes at scale.”

New Delivery Tools
The intelligent delivery tools are part of the Accenture industrialization program for Salesforce and consist of:
• The Accenture Foundation Platform for Salesforce is a pre-built, common services framework and development and run-time accelerator for Salesforce. In a fast paced multi-release environment, as new functionality is incrementally added, the Accenture Foundation Platform for Salesforce helps guide developers to make decisions on architecture and performance enhancement based on leading practices more than 500 Salesforce implementations.

• An Accenture software engineering suite for the Salesforce1 Platform uses embedded analytics to automate test case generation and code review, which can increase test coverage and reduce unit testing effort. Utilized in more than 50 projects to date, the tool can accelerate the build phase of projects by up to 20 percent while automatically benchmarking Salesforce configurations against leading practices, improving code quality and helping make client applications more maintainable.

• The Accenture Reusable Technical Library for Salesforce is a global repository available across Accenture with more than 160 high quality and tested assets. Used in more than 100 projects to date, the library can reduce development time and effort through the reuse of tools and templates, and can deliver cost savings to clients.

Expanded Salesforce Workforce
Accenture has the largest Salesforce services practice in the world[II]—including the most certified consultants by a factor of more than two times the next-closest competitor.

Accenture has continued to invest in training, expanding its number of Salesforce skilled consultants to more than 3,600 globally. This includes nearly 800 experienced consultants in Europe, Africa, Middle East and Latin America, bolstered by Accenture’s recent acquisition of ClientHouse, an independent provider of salesforce.com solutions based in Jena, Germany.

“Accenture continues to rapidly scale its global delivery capabilities to provide an unprecedented breadth and depth of services to our customers throughout the world,” said Dan Streetman, senior vice president, worldwide alliances and channel GTM, salesforce.com. “Their intelligent tools, coupled with the largest group of Salesforce-certified professionals in the market makes Accenture a global leader in Salesforce implementations.”
