The Ministry of Commerce Published the Development Situation of Service Outsourcing Industry from Jan to May in 2015

According to the statistics, during the period from Jan to May in 2015, the contract value of service outsourcing enterprises in China reached 4.25 billion USD, which increased 6.3% year-on-year; the implementation value reached 31.08 billion USD, which increased 14% year-on-year. The contract value of offshore service outsourcing reached 26.36 billion USD, which decreased 2.6% year-on-year; the implementation value reached 20.46 billion USD, which increased 10.3% year-on-year.

The director of Ministry of Commerce of China, Department of Trade in Services and Commercial Services indicates that there are those features below in service outsourcing industry in the first five months of 2015:

The first one is that strategy of “internet +” promotes rapid development of onshore service outsourcing industry. The development strategy of “internet +” promotes innovation & integration & development of internet and service industry & manufacturing, constantly releases market potentials of onshore service outsourcing, and promotes rapid development of service outsourcing in onshore market. The contract amount of onshore service outsourcing has been 16.14 billion USD in Jan-May of 2015, which increasing 24.8% year-on-year. The implementation value has been 10.63 billion USD, which increasing 21.7% year-on-year, obviously higher than the increase speeds of offshore service outsourcing.

The second one is that new emerging market of service outsourcing shows good trend. USA, EU, HK and Japan are main outsourcing markets for China; the outsourcing situation from those locations has decreased in different degrees in the first five months of this year. China has been actively exploring new emerging market; the service outsourcing contract amount undertaken from Singapore, Koran, Taiwan and other locations have been 1.74 billion USD, 1.64 billion USD and 1.15 billion USD representatively, which representatively increasing 24.4%, 22.8% and 21.5% year-on-year.

The third one is to deepen cooperate with those countries in “One Belt and One Road” in service outsourcing; especially there is obvious increasing in undertaking service outsourcing from southeast countries. The contract amount of China’s enterprises undertaken service outsourcing from those countries in “One Belt and One Road” has been 5.32 billion USD in Jan-May of 2015, which increasing 19.8% year-on-year. The implementation amount has been 3.42 billion USD, which increasing 4.8% year-on-year. Among them, the value of contract undertaken from southeast countries and the implementation value have been 3.25 billion USD and 2.12 billion USD representatively, which representatively increasing 23.9% and 15.7%.

The fourth one is that the strategy of “integration of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei” drives rapid development of service outsourcing industry in Hebei province. With implementation of the strategy of “integration of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei”, Hebei province has started to orderly undertake information industry transformation from Beijing and Tianjin; and service outsourcing industry also has shown rapid development. The contract amount and implementation amount of offshore service outsourcing in Hebei province have been 84.59 million USD and 45.126 million USD representatively, which increases 772.9% and 353% representatively.
