ZTE announced that Telenor will be the first operator in Europe to offer ZTE’s pocket-sized 4G router the MF93D. The small device is a personal mobile WiFi hotspot which enables the setup of a wireless network, connecting up to 10 devices, in the office, hotel, airport or outdoors.

In contrast to older generations of mobile WiFi devices, the MF93D offers much faster speed, up to 90 Mbps over WiFi, enabling it to take full advantage of 4G’s potential. With a battery life of up to 9 hours of streaming, as well as access to both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz band, two WiFi networks and sharing of public hotspots, this little device is better than most equivalents on the market right now.

"Telenor has certainly made every effort to test the technology with various solutions. We are therefore extremely proud that they have chosen us based on performance and the ability to strengthen Telenor in its quest to bring a high quality network experience to the end users,” said Nicklas Sivander, terminal manager at ZTE Sweden.

MF93D will be sold with a 24-month subscription from May 2013.
